Microphone doesnt work.
I own an X3i and the microphone does not work for some reason. I've tried increasing the volume of microphone but it only records static.

I use the default sound recorder program.

Any ideas?

I would check the microphone settings (encoding being used for recording). If you did not change it from factory then I would suspect a bad Axim and recommend a replacement as a functioning X3 has a decent microphone for recording.
