Buzzing sound...here is a challenge....
Anyone else having a problem w/ X3 sound & buzzing? Everytime touch the screen it buzzs and everytime start media player makes a horrible sound. Tried every setting including hard and soft resets.... It is freaking driving me crazy!!!! getting rdy to go back to Dell unless some one has a better idea

If the sound is really that loud, then there is probably a problem with the X3i. My X3i is quieter than my Seiko watch. I would call Dell for a replacement.

the X3's buzzing seems to be different. the quiet buzzing i get from my X5 is only the sound of the backlight being on, the sound goes away when it's off. generally i can't hear it. X3 users are reporting buzzing regardless of backlight setting.

Is not really a buzzing sound, more like a horrible screech. Even hear it in the headphone, when they are plugged in.
