Does your X3i hum?
I am starting to notice a huming sound form the screen of my X3i. I don't think I heard this before.

Is this common? It is pretty loud.

other people have complained about humming on the X3... it's normal for the the backlight to make a slight humming noise, but apparently it's coming from elsewhere on the unit--ins ome situations, that is. try turning off the bakclight and see if you can still hear it.

Mine doesn't hum (if a hum is a low pitched sound). I can detect a very high pitched tone from my X3 (with screen off or on) but nothing too bad.
In fact I only noticed it when I read this thread and held it to my ear. Can't hear it if the X3 is further than about 10cm from my ear.
