WM2003 sound problem linked to speed?
If this is old news, please forgive the post...
To maximize battery life, I wanted to make my 4155 run in the auto speed switching modes of which the PXA255 and PXA263 are capable. Using PHM, I set the values to L=27 M=2 N=1. It appears to work just like the X5 and X3i did in Auto mode.
However, I noticed that some of my emulators (Pocket VCS and Pocket NES) exhibit the same sound weirdness that I noticed on the X5 and X3i. (WM2003 that is)
The point is, if one is experiencing sound issues in an emulator, then it might be wise to set the Axim to Max Performance and then give it a shot and see if the sound problems are resolved.
Perhaps the WM2003 sound issues I was having with some emulators and the X5 & X3i were related to the PXBus being set at 99 mhz.
