AXIM 5 Turning On
After upgrading to WM 2003 I have had a unique problem that I cannot get to teh bottom of. I use a Franklin binder and with PPC2002 I had it set so that buttons did not turn it on because the paper pressing on it would turn it on. I have WM 2003 set up the same way. However, many times I open the case and the AXIM is on & the battery level almost exhausted. I turn the unit off, press all the buttons and it doesn't turn on. Icannot figure out what is causing this.

One thing that I think is different is alarms. It seems if an appointment comes up, it turns on, and possibly staying on, not sure. I don't remember seeing that in PPC 2002. I swore the alarm didn't show until I turned it on.

PPCs, in general will "wake up" for alarms. Unfortunately they will often stay on until you acknowledge them, depending on a seeming multitude of settings.

Try this search (exactly as bold faced): alarm* "turn* on"

Or, these first, relevant few from that search:

Battery Discharge (again!)

How can I stop alarms from turning the axim on?

Alarms

help!! i lost everything, and my battery is ALWAYS dead..
