Call for Actions - Wireless problems

After reading all the threads about the WiFi problem with the X3i. It's pretty clear that the problem lies with the X3i and not any specific router. Turning off PowerSaving, Disabling WEP, and Broadcasting SSID have not work for most of the people (replacing the unit sometimes doesn't work either). We need to do something about this. We need Dell to acknowledge this problem and see what they have what plan they have to fix this problem. By the number of posts in the forum I expect that thousand of other people are having the same problem. The Dell X3i is specifically designed for Wireless access, it's kinda useless to advertise this feature (and charge for it) when it doesn't even work reliably. What can we do people?

My wireless is working fine for me. Only thing is I can't connect if the SSID is not being broadcasted. Posting from my X3i now.

Wi-Fi Works great here:

Firmware: 1.07.06.00
Driver: 3.00.04.02.0028
Utility: 3.00.04.2.0059
ROM: A00(09100300EN)

Havent had any problems that I can note with my X3i. (Other than a CRAPPY Linksys BEFW11S4 Router). Changed to my Microsoft MN-500 and have no problems.

Yes I`ve got a 2.4 GHz Phone and I don´t have any problems with it. (I use Channel 2 with my Netgear WGR 614 Router). I also don`t have any problems with an 1.8 GHz GSM phone.

There are a few students here at Finch University Chicago Med School who have had problems with the X3i. Some of them forget to turn on the Wifi. Otherwise the have no problems with our wifi system.

I have a 2.4GHZ phone, no problems, I had my set-up on the best channel prior to recieving the X3i, as I have a notebook that uses 802.11G.

I was the one with the 2 Axims, but the second got the same probelms.
Seems as this problem only occurs with the german versions? Or is there any one with an english versione who hasn't posted his ROM Version yet?

Greetings
