First time user of PDA of any kind. I loaded up the ActiveSync (from CD that came with the X3i) on the laptop. First time, it syncs up fine. I then loaded up Monopoly and Scrabble. No problems entering the seriel numbers and they ran fine. But, after a short time, Monopoly won't run at all. I click the icon in the programs screen and nothing. The game will not run. I try to remove programs and I get the Uninstall unsuccessful error (it says the files are in use). I go to "running programs list" and nothing is listed as running. Now when I try the activesync, I get the error, "... cannot be comleted successfully. Disconnect and try again...." That does not work either. I did a hard reboot, reinstalled everything and no luck.

Please help a frustrated newbie......

Sometimes you need to uninstall ActiveSync and reinstall to get it to work. Make sure your USB connection is good. To get rid of incomplete uninstalls on your Ax, go to File Explorer and find the file. Click and hold until a menu appears, then click delete.

First off, thanks for the reply. I will try to reinstall active sync and I will recheck the usb connection.

I tried to delete the programs thru File Explorer (by clicking and holding until the menu appears), but I still get the Uninstall unsuccessful error (it says the files are in use). I go to "running programs list" and nothing is listed as running.

The thing which concerns me most is there are only two programs installed.

I am frustrated....
