X3i screen has a "spot" on it
My X3i has a spot developing in the middle of the screen. It looks like a water spot between the screen and the screen saver I put on. However, the spot is under the main screen. Is this a known problem?

Never heard of this. Do you use this in a humid area? Have you used any cleaners?

No, I live in Colorado and have not applied anything on my X3i. I have a case and keep it in it. I have used Belkin protectors and have changed them 3 times now. I wonder if the adhesive is the problem.

I re-applied the screen protector again and still had the spot in the middle, but a little smaller. I took the screen protector off and applied another. Now there is no spot. I will certainly be watching this.

Mine has this too!

I've also noticed that when I hold the axim, I can scroll by running my finger down the SIDE of the axim....go figure.

I don't have a screen protector on mine.

I'm starting to wonder if the leather case that comes with the x3i is too tight and putting too much pressure on the axim itself? Couldn't that possibly mess up with digitizer/screen?

I've been on hold with Dell Canada for the past hour. Would be nice to get through.

I got my first x3i and it too had the same thing right out of the box. Wanted to call dell and bitch about it but never got around to it, but I eventually had to send it back and exchange it so that worked out well. SO the next one they sent me had the same thing. This one was smaller and I was going to send it back but I had the damage warentee thing so I thought that it would be a good thing to keep as for a reason to send it back later without actually damageing it. Well, after a couple weeks it no longer has that spot on the screen. So my thought is that over time it just goes away.

If it bothers you, send it back, but like i said, mine went away
