Is the Power Button supposed to turn green when you turn the unit on while not being charged? I know this a stupid question but my wife swears that it used to but I didn't take that much notice to it.

I am also having problems with it not turning back on/locking up. I usually end up taking the battery out for a minute then doing a hard reset. this is getting old though.

It also appears that I am having SD card issues. Sometimes it doesnt reconize it is there. Could the SD card be causing it to lock up/not turn on as stated above?

Or is it something my wife is/isn't doing. I got it for her for christmas and it worked fine up till today.

the green light means it is fully charged at 100%. Once it turns orange that means it is not fully charged and is less then 100%.

FYI, tapping the power button turns it on and off. Holding it down for a couple seconds turns the backlight on/off.

Try taking the SD card out for sometimes and see if you get anymore lock ups.

The power button is only active when it is in the cradle or attached to the charge/sync cable, otherwise, it's not lit.

As far as your other problem, you may want to try a soft reset while it's functioning properly. If this doesn't work, I'd remove Tetris, since that's all you have loaded and see if it's stable in its "out of the box" condition.

I did a soft reset and am going to leave the SD card out for awhile and see what happens.
