I have the following config...

Win2000 on my desktop with Zone Alarm basic firewall (the free one) and the Axim X3i.

I have soft the axim once or twice and it sometimes works but now it just says connecting then says not connected...i try again and it says 7 items unsyncronized or something to that effect. I though i had previously solved the prob by downloading that Scarybear freeware that fixed the queue problem but that fixed AS temporarily..I have upgraded to 3.7.1 AS....what could be the problem?

About a week ago my Dell has altogether decided that my PC wasn't good enough for it. Now I basically have to restart my comp with my x5 Advanced wm2003 in the cradle for it to work. once. As soon as I take it out of the cradle, that's it: puting it back in, soft/hard resets, unplugging and re-plugging the cradle into the USB slot (or a diff one, for that matter) - nothing works. Nothing short of resetting my comp with the ax in the cradle, that is. And since my PC takes about 3 minutes to reset, I'm really getting tired of this. REALLY.

any help is appreciated on the issue.
