microphone in Axin X3i
Does anyone experienced this problem?

The only way I can get the microphone to work with the X3i is to have the "screen taps" sound on in the Sound and Notifications menu. This seems disrupting when I am in meetings and people hear that tapping sound. Is there any other way to fix this problem?

This is interesting. I recently purchased the X3i and disabled the "screen tap" sounds as well. The other day I was testing out the mic capabilities and found that the playback was nothing but static. I contacted Dell and their only solution was to perform a Hard Reset. It was a headache, but it solved the problem. From what I have read I get the impression I need only enable screen tap sounds in the future. fyi

I have a somewhat unrelated question - what rate does the voice record at? How much audio can I fit in, say, a 64mb sd card?
