no control over int. explorer downloading...
Hey i lose control of my internet explorer when it is attempting to download large files or upload some long pages. More correctly, i cant contol anything on the machine during process if I want to quit that action. Like buttons (even power button), refresh, home etc. For example, I was on the Tmobile hotspot site and was looking for coffee shops and bookstores with wifi and I chose Charbucks (haha) and man that page is HUGE! With their 4100 locations it took forever to upload. I got tired of waiting for the stinking page to finish and wanted to leave. Nope no can do. I lost control over the axim and finally removed the battery. How do you gain better control over explorer?

Provided it's still loading the page, I'd let it finish. If your Pocket Internet Explorer seems to be really going slow in general (mine's not that slow), maybe you need a soft reset.

BTW, pulling the battery shouldn't do anything unless your backup battery is dead, or unless you're pulling the backup battery too. If that's the case, you'll lose your data on your device. I'd keep the batteries in myself.
