Dim display when I power on my 3xi
I have been having trouble with my new 3xi when I power it on sometimes the display would be on it's darkest setting. Spent some time browsing the forum for the solution and could not find it. Finally figured it out.
It appears that there is a setting that if you hold down you power button it will dim the display and then if you hold down your power button it will brighten your display. I suppose this is a power saving feature if you want to dim your unit manually instead of waiting for the auto dim to kick in.
If you want to turn off this feature simply go to start, settings, system tab, brightness. Then uncheck the box that says "dim/light display using power button"
Hope this help someone else it was starting to frustate me... starting thinking my unit was broken..
