Well, yesterday my three week old Axim died. First it started crashing while playing Jawbreaker, then it locked solid. A soft reset brought it back but it hung again. A hard reset got me to the "wireless" setup screen, played a sound then hung.

So I removed the battery and left it overnight for the backup battery to clear down. Put in a fresh battry this morning, and got the "Welcome" screens, followed by another solid hang.

So, it's back to Dell with the wretched thing.

Don't expect anyone here to help, but thought it worth reporting so we can build up a picture of the reliability of these things. I hope that in my case it was just infant mortality, but we'll see if/when I get a replacement...
