Belkin Keyboard F8U1500
So this keyboard isnt certified for the Axim X3

But for $30 with code 35491 I couldnt pass it up...

And it works very nicely - sort off..

So I want to be able to use the Axim without touching the screen and use the keyboard totally if possible...

But Im stuck...yes, Ive run Driver 1.3 and now 2.0, dont see any changes between the two !

Top left special button - opens a window with all the notes in it

Shouldnt it open Calendar ?

Second left special button opens Calendar.

Fn Calendar opens word folder, but not a NEW word document, can a button be mapped to open a new word document ?

Fn contacts opens excel folder, but not a NEW excel document, can button be mapped to open a new excel document ?

Is there a way to open a new note, contact, word, excel document from the keyboard, can these be mapped to buttons ?

Is there a way to re-map the keyboard special keys ?

Is there a way to use menu items when in applications i.e. If Im in a new word document be able to open Edit Menu and do a Find / Replace etc...without tapping the screen

Is there a way to stop the screen dimming when using the keyboard / Without leaving it on all the time ?

When I press Fn Today, returns to TODAY screen, but kills ICBAR, any tools like this it doesnt kill, like to see battery usage on screen, ICBAR can only be returned by soft reset !!

In summary would like to open new document from keyboard and not loose ICBAR functionality when Fn Today is pressed

Comments...Apart from shold have spent the extra on the Dell keyboard...
