Help! My Axim won't connect to Internet
I've made a successful connection to my Wireless router. However, Pocket I.E. won't load a page - it keeps giving me a "Page Not Found" message on every page I try. I'm sure it's an issue with my Axim, because my laptop connects with no issues. Under the connection menu, it shows I am connected to my network and shows the SSID (I have broadcasting turned on in order to try to get it to find and connect to the WAP).
Another issue, my Axim won't keep the WEP code I enter under the connection authentication settings. Here's where I am:
- I have the box for Data Encryption (WEP) checked (WEP is enabled on the access point with 64 Bit encryption)
- I have the box checked for Network Authentication (shared mode)
- I have unchecked the "Key is provided for me automatically" box and manually enter a key.
- I have the box for "Enable network access using IEE 802.1x" box unchecked.
Entering is where things seem to go wrong. I enter in the proper WEP key into the box. I've tried both hitting enter and using the OK button to exit out of the menu. I've even tried connecting to IE without exiting the menu. Nothing works. No matter what I do, when I go into the Authentication menu, the key is different (I can tell because the number of Asterisks no longer matches the number of characters in the WEP key I use).
Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a fix for it?
