Battery icon at the tip missing
Dunno what I have done but on a few screenprints I have noticed the battery icon at the top next to the volume and time. Its not from batterybar or whatever these programs are, its the normal X3i thing, so how do I bring it back?

the only built in battery indicator I know of is part of the switcher bar application under Start -> Settings -> System.

That sounds like battery bar option . Go to settings then today then items make sure battery bar is checked then highlight it by tapping on it then tap on options then the power bar tab make sure the box is checked for show battery meter that should do it!

Does your X5 have PPC2002 or WM2003 for the operating system? In PPC2002, Dell included the Battery Icon as part of the Switcher Bar. For some reason in WM2003, Dell dropped the Battery Icon off the Switcher Bar. Since the X3 and X3i have WM2003, they don't show the battery icon on the top taskbar.
