Just got my new X3 today.I have a new laptop but the cd rom is deffective.Dell is sending a new one out to me.Right now I have the application disc for the x3 but cant install it.Anyone know where I can get the software to get it up and running.Thank you ahead of time

Well you can download activesync from here and it will probably be a more up to date version than you would get on the cd anyhow

I don't know about the cd with the x3 but the companion to the wm2003 upgrade for the x5 contained relatively little new software...if you check out the downloads here at aximsite you'll probably find more useful stuff (except there is a full version of Resco Picture Viewer - which imho is worth having due to the cost $0!)

As others have noted, the latest version of ActiveSync on the MS Website (3.7.1) is newer than the one on the CD. And that's pretty much all you need on the CD to get going. You can download everything else from the web (demos, diagnostics etc).

tried to download and did it now it says it cant sync with outlook,Calender and such
