I'm planning on using my x3i as a mp3 player in the delivery room next month and I'm concerned that the battery will not last as long as the labor. So, I'm thinking about getting a spare to have charged and pull it out when it's necessary.

I know, first thought would be to bring the power cord, but we've been told a variety of times, no power devices. So, a battery is the only option.

So, to the point...any recommendations on good places to get a replacement, the bigger the better for this, I'm not too concerned with it fitting in the leather case I have either. Just need to calming effects for the wife!

Hey, we're probably all nerds here. But your request indicates the extreme.
I'm guessing this is your first kid. If so, I would recomend leaving the axim at home. The experience at the hospital will consume your attention for the most part and it will change your life forever. I recommend focusing on that and searching for info any info that will help you as a new parent instead of being wired into musical wallpaper.

I appreciate your concern, but I'm trying to get the music togethe r for my wife. I've read and will continue to read on becoming a parent, but I'd like to try and create as relaxing an environment as possible...especially with the chaos that's about to commence.
