GET A "CANNOT FIND THE PAGE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR" mes. on p.internet ex.? problem solv

I found this out earlier tody and tried to figure out what was wrong for three hours. if you get a message that says "the page you are looking for cannot be found" then you should check your CONNMANGER file and if it is empty get ready to sync your axim- do not backup/restore files just make sure everything you want is in the axim file on your desktop and then disconnect your axim do a hard reset, sync again as a GUEST and manually tranfer all the files you want via cut/paste on the right click. IF YOU BACKUP/RESTORE the error will just be relloaded on your axim---FAQs should include this when people get the above mentioned message and have checked the WEP and provided IP function I had to figure it out on my own and it SUCKED!:rolling:

I get that message whenever I lose my wireless internet connection. When I correct the problem that caused me to lose my connection (whole other topic), that message goes away and I surf merrily.

Your solution may be overkill, although I definitely understand at times that one will do whatever necessary to get past that message.

Before going gonzo on my axim, I had checked everything even remotely associated with the wifi function. the device confirmed that I was connected, an ip address was provided by the network and wep was off, it just wouldn't open any pages because I had erased the CONNMAPS or CONFIGMAPS I'm not sure which.
