Can't sync! What's a COM port?

PROBLEM SOLVED!!

It was my firewall that was messing everything up. I uninstalled my firewall and that solved the problem. Thanks so much to everyone who tried to help me! Finally I've got my Axim active sync up and running.

Did you reinstall your firewall? If you did and you can still connect to your Axim that would be useful for others to know about.
If you didn't, I guess there's a choice to be made between syncing and protection (not one I like!).
Can you sync with the firewall disabled, rather than uninstalling, that might be an answer.

I ASync with ZoneAlarm Pro running, with no problems.

The first time you sync, it asks if you want to allow it, click yes....and away you go!

I'm running Sygate Personal Firewall Pro and have never had a problem, so I guess there's two that work.
By the way Mr K. is it Thanksgiving? Or was there no special event?
