Help with messenger please (rom issue)
could anyone help me

i have had a problem with messenger because i accidentally installed MSN messenger for ppc 2002 which didnt work

so i uninstalled of course

now it wont work at all and it seems to be missing from the rom image cos now it says cannto find MSIM

could anyone help please ie send a copy of it to me gromitdawson@hotmail.com thanks

ps i put it in hardware cos its rom ok

The ultimate fix for any problem with preinstalled software is a hard reset. This will put your Axim back to the way it was delivered from Dell. If Howard's suggestion doesn't help, it may be your easiest solution.

no i tried that though thanx 4 help

but if i do a hard reset and use the data backup it restores the fault, is there anyway of backing up everything except the fault?

Sounds like your best bet is to hard reset. Just make sure everything is on your computer. Sync from Outlook, and then do fresh installs of any third party programs. It may take you awhile, but sometimes starting over is a good feeling.
