I keep getting a message "a memory error has been detected" and it tells me to press the contacts key to correct the issue. Is this a common problem with the x3i?

What happens if you do a hard reset without restore? Still see it?

I have done about 3 or 4 hard resets since I have had it, but it doesn't help. It seems to happen more often when I am using wifi and it goes to suspend mode. But it also happens when I am not using my wifi

I would call Dell and get it replaced. It sounds like you've got a bad memory block or something. BTW, are there any good memtest like programs for PPC?
