I still have a connection problem...I can log onto aim at my college but not 1 webpage will load up. I think it must have somethin to do w/ the wireless at my college (NYIT) if any1 has any suggestions...plz help...i tried tappin on the windows.exe n realign everything but it didnt work. I gave my axim x3i to my boss at work and after he messed around w/ settings for over an hr he was able to have it connect to the wireless at work and all the pgs loaded up. Now when i try to connect at school i notice i get a 172.XXX ip and sometimes now the wireless just dies on me ...what is happening!....thx in advance

You school probably has MAC filtering on. I have heard lots of people on here who have to turn there MAC address in tot he school so they can add you to the list of accepted MAC addresses.

Yeah, I would recommend you go to a person at school in charge of that or look for a website from your school.

My shcool has a website where you log on with your student ID and password and you get to register your device's MAC address so that it'll have access when you connect.
