Problems connecting to my office PC

I have managed to get Activesync 3.7 installed on my work PC and was looking forward syncing my X3i to outlook and the like (my firm are a little bit anal about these things and I am suprised they let me have it). The computer detects the cradle and asks for a file called 'wceusbsh.sys'. This resides in the system directory and Activesync directory. However when I try to install this file it come up with 'invalid data'. The computer lists the cradle as an unidentified USB device. When I installed AS 3.7 on my home PC i didn't get any problems whatsoever.

What am I doing wrong? Is it the fact that the company security is preventing me from installing (unlikely as a mate recently installed an IPAQ with AS 3.7).

Is it Activesync itself?

Some help would be greatly appreciated.

What operating system is on your PC? I assume it has USB support, and I guess you have removed the Axim from the cradle before installing ActiveSync. Those two things are very important. You can't have the Axim in cradle until ActiveSync asks for you to do so. Last if that was not done uninstall ActiveSync and repeat the installation.

I am using networked Win 2000. I installed AS before connecting the Axim. I'll try uninstalling and trying again.
