my x3i, well for some reason it started freezing like a WHOLE lot, (like every 15min) it will be sittin in the cradle, and all of a sudden it will freze and my coputer will make that sound that i disconacted a device, and ugh, and when im playing music it does it, and then today at school i brought it and when i tried to turn it on later in the day, it wouldnt turn on, i tried pulling out the batter etc. and still nothing, brought it home stuck it in the cradle turned on and said some meory error thing :-|, and i donno dells policy on exchanging them when i uh, bought it off ebay (it used to work just perfect)

What have you tried so far? Hard reaset/softrest? Did you install some new software?

If you can connect to you PC back it up right away before you start trouble shooting.

did you go through the process to transfer the ownership under your name? if so, Dell will honor that warranty.

o thanks for the ownership stuff, um, i have done several hard resets lately and its just giving me so many problems now. Used to work with alot of frezing, then after awhile it stopped freezing at all then it started doing it constantly.
