whenever i play music, or really any kind of sound, my axim freezes up and i have to soft reboot. now, here's the kicker ... it only does this when i have something plugged into the headphone jack (headphones, cable that goes to my stereo, etc). i've tried multiple media players ... same thing on all. any suggestions? i plan on calling dell support tomorrow, but i just wanted to see if anyone else had this same thing.

Send it back to dell. I had the same problem, could listen to mp3's for about 5 minutes and then it would freeze. Did numorous of hard resets but didn't work. They replaced in 2 days. Also try it without a memory card, they suggested that but for me it made no difference.
