Slow and stalled USB connection

Heres the deal.

I compressed a DIVX video down to about 100MB from 200MB so that I could watch it on my Axim on my lunch break at work.

However, whenever I try to transfer the file from my PC to my AXIM the transfer literally will take an hour. It will start transferring, then it will seem to start over again. I finally got it to go after I started it one night at about 3am and then left it alone until I woke up in the morning at 9am.

I have a Lexar SD 512MB card with my Axim30 midrange.

Is this just an activesync issue (slow and stalled transfers)? Or maybe I should hard reset my Axim? I have been having probs with it ever since I put pocket Skype beta on it and it hung.

ActiveSync is really bad at transferring large files. Try using a card reader.
