FREE without the need for any added PPC software:

2. Insert the 256 MB SD card in question
3. On your PC click Start > Programs > Accessiories > System Tools > ScanDisk
4. A list of available diskc/drives will appear.
5. Select your Card Reader/SD card from the list
6. Choose a "Thorough Scan" and let the scan run and automatically fix any errors
Next
Defragment your SD card:
1. With your Card Reader and SD card still connected to your PC, on your PC click Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Defragment
2. Select your SD card from the list of drives/disks to defragment
3. Let the defragment program run
Now Check you SD card to see if there are any corrupt files just sitting around taking up space or dead files and just delete them. This should free up a bunch of space and keep your card from reporting incorrect disk space.
Best of luck!
