i was using bluetooth and saw it dropping the conn after about 3 seconds i thought using the craddle but the same happened. the pda pops up with a "no connection can be made theres no modem entry " (translated) where do i set the modem entry ?

theres the USB sound indicating that my PDA is gound activesync gets green and syncs. 3 seconds. sound of USB disconnecting and Activesync disconnecting sound, activesync gets grey. on PDA : connection not possible no modem entered and no network card present.
yesterday it worked i wonder if i did anything to my settings.

same happens when connecting through bluetooth. exactly the same..

when removing the partnerhood (dunno if thats the correct translation the connection is held up as long as i configure a new one choosing what to synchronize as guest or standard and so on. the moment activesync tries to synchronize the above happens.

i get crazy with this microsoft softwares. I wonder if they will ever program something working. simply working.

i cheered up seeing that isilo kann be the problem and i was trying it yesterday. Unfortunatedly its not the problem and tthe problem is not listed on the site above.

for the size of the Axim it makes quite big problems.

i have the solution to this problem. It is isilo but not the PC part, its the pocketpc part.

hope everyone finds this topic who gets stuck with this horrible bug.

I had similar problems when the firewall on my PC was blocking connections. When connecting the ative sync icon turned green for a few seconds, then active sync would report no-connection and the icon would turn grey.

The indications on your Axim about having no network or modem connected is possibly a red-herring in that the cause of the problem is elsewhere.

Turning off my firewall while connecting/syncing cured my problem. I now have to find the entry in my firewall settings to see which one is stopping the connection - it's doesn't appear to be obvious so I will have to try disabling each one in turn

Try turning off your firewall to see if it makes a difference to your connection problem.

nah its not the firewall here it was isolo for sure.

but i followed another post to install ver 3.5 now my adresses and kalendar wont synch. if anyone knows a solution to this new M$ gift ?
