Regarding the x3's connector and especially if you see bent pins!!!
I seriously doubt we will get any help from dell about this problem because unless you use only a cradle to sync or use extra special care while using the sync cable or power adapter then you will more than likely but almost certainly run into this little (MAJOR) problem. In addition to the 24 contacts (at least that is how many I still can see) there should also be a small very thin leaf of plastic which extended out from the plastic that the pins were molded into. Take a look at your other connectors the power or usb cable and you will notice that the pins on it are seperated and supported by plastic. Now imagine the same thing on the connector of your axim EXEPT!! it isn't supported or reinforced by anything but the pins. I just happened to notice mine when it fell out. I did not however realize it's importance until I began to notice difficulty with the connector. I love how it lets you really mangle the pins before it stops syncing or charging. You would think that they would have used the easily damaged connector design on the less expensive cable or power connectors. But dude you gotta Dell!
