I have have been haveing problems setting up a wireless connection to my d-link wireless router. When i look at the wireless connection it shows that my x30 is connected to my network. but i cant connect to me desktop or laptop pc. it keeps telling me i dont have secuirty to connect. Now i do have 128k hex wep set up with 2 security keys. which my wireless card on my laptop can connect. does any one have a sugestion on what i need to do to my x30. which i know does connect since also where i live i can connect to two other wireless networks and surf the web.

So you're saying that you're able to connect to your Wireless router but you can't connect to shared folders on your PC and Laptop? Can you conntect to \\laptopname\c$?

when i try to connect to any shared folder . which i have shared the full directory. it askes me to log on to a vpn and i have no secuirty set up for that

Something's awry in your Network Connections settings. You must have a VPN connection configured under one of your network settings, notably the settings that says "Programs that connect to a Private network should connect using"

could it be possible that i have the wep set to high on the router. I have it set to 128 hex does the axim x30 support that.

128 bit is fine for the Axim.

ok how do you find the mac address for the wireless on the x30
