I have my Axim docked in it's dock, and the Dell logo does not light up. Everything syncs fine (on my Mac, running PocketMac Pro 3.X whatever).

could this be some stupid thing that my Mac doesn't communicate well with the dock? or were there versions of this dock where it didn't glow? (chrome one with dell logo under semi transparent chrome.

any help would be appreciated. nice forums!

Is the cradle plugged into a wall socket as well as your Mac? The sync cable to the destop computer is just for data... you need need a mains connection for charging. (Some charging is possible via USB, but that's another discussion).

ahhh, thanks. I noticed the charging via USB is flakey without the AC connection. I bought the Axim from a friend, who 'couldn't find everything that came with the Axim'. ie he's missing the power cable that goes from the dock to the wall. I'll go get one, joy.
