kingston would be my choice over sandisk. panasonic, lexar, viking, and pny are also good brands.

can't think of a card that performs wonders... though i wouldn't be surpised if by christmas there are cards on the market that perform on broadway.

the pace of technology is amazing!

I have a Lexar and a SanDisk and no problems at all. The Sandisk is a very good card. The problem was with one batch about a year ago. Since we haven't see any complaint about them. Mine worked just fine.

Thanks for the feedback.. guess what, i don't know what leads me into this .. I got myself a Pendrive SD card.. it's 512MB. It's cheaper than the rest of the choices there so I gave it a try. so far so good.. just wondering if you guys know any tools to actually test SD card?

I have a SanDisk 256MB that works perfectly. I also have a SanDisk 1GB SD card on order.

I don't have any problem with SanDisk and I think it was an excellent conculsion that Frenchy drew stating that there indeed was a "bad batch" of SanDisk card, but the problem has been rectified, so you can use SanDisk cards freely and without worry.

Well, that's a good news to everyone I guess.... maybe it'll be my next choice. btw, any indication on the card which is previous batch such as production number or anything that we can refer to?

Yep! HappyCheesecake complied a list of SD card that weren't working properly with the Axim. Here's the link: http://sdprob.aximsite.com/theproblemlist.htm

Enjoy!

I can't believe that I'm the only one that has had problems with the Kingston. I cannot get the 256 card to work.

Yeah, I heard a lot of complaints about SanDisk but my 256MB Sandisk runs perfectly fine. I also got a 512MB Kingston, excellent card. I'd say Kingston is better than SanDisk in the end.
