Axim Losing Time
In the last few days, my Axim X30 624 has been losing 10-15 minutes an hour. Any clues?
I turn it off, and when I turn it back on, it seems to correct itself when it finds a connection.

Does the time run off the backup battery or the main battery......maybe the backup battery is going bad????(do not panic, this is just an idea, I am not sure but it could explain the behavior)

Perhaps you shouldn't hold it so close to that black hole next to your house. The time differences from the gravitational distortions can cause havik with the clock and mess up all your appointments. Not to mention suck the tiles right off the roof of your house.

Thanks for the laughs, jp. That made my day.

It correcting itself upon finding a connection is simply it connecting to the internet and retrieving the time from the servers. I don't know about what could cause the actual losing of time though. Maybe it's trying to tell you that time is slipping away.

Hi All,

Quick stupid question, finally got my Dell Axin X3 to active sync again....long story PC crash blah blah blah.

What I notice is the time is off now when I put it in the cradle. As I type this it's 12:59am on my desktop and Axim shows 3:59.

What's the deal is there somewhere I can go to change a setting or do I have to manually everytime I pick up the Axim to go to work tomorrow I have to change the time?

Thanks in advance.

.
.

I think Dell may have outsourced the Axims' timekeeping function to India, as well.
