ActiveSync problem!!!!
Hi there,
I have had my Axim X3 for just over a week, having bought it on Ebay. It is in excellent condition - barely used. My problem is that when I try to set up the ActiveSync, it keeps prompting for a password. I have contacted the person I bought it from, who insists there was no password to connect from the computer to the PDA.

Any advice would be great, since until I find a way around this problem I can't Sync to the computer!!!!

Hi if you are entering a password when you power up your Axim then that is your password just enter it and check the box that says remember my password and you will never have to enter it again.

Did you do a hard reset on the unit when you got it? If so that would clear any password. So, you would then not have to enter one unless you created it.

Is it activesync on your PC asking for a password or your Axim?

If it is the Axim, a hard rest will resolve the problem.
