screen problems
My axim recently started having screen problems....the screen gets out of alignment very quickly. I will align the screen with the stylus and after using it for a very short time wherever i touch the screen the touch actually registers above that spot. So when I try to press a button on the screen I actually have to tap below where i am trying to touch......I hope that makes sense.
Just wondered if anybody else had this problem and if it was something I could fix myself and not have to send it in...

I just found this site today, I wish I would have found it sooner, there is tons of good stuff here!

If you have a screen protector on it, this causes the symptom's that you are describing, remove protector test to see if that was problem and reapply, sometimes the protector gets under the case and causes this to happen
BTW Welcome to Axim-Site

Try a soft reset and try a realignment of screen also located at
Start\settings\system\screen .....align screen.

did all that several times...did a hard reset....tried everything I could think of and it still slowly gets out of alignment in a matter of 5 minutes of use.

You Did a Hard reset also, well use a flashlight and make sure there is not a small piece of the screen protector stuck under the screen and case, if not then i guess you will have to call Dell for a replacement

I found a place online that sells the digitizers and directions.....any ideas about whether a new digitizer would do it?
