Can't Renew DHCP Server
I have a wireless router at home with a dhcp server ip of 192.168.0.1 and I can connect to it just fine at home. At work they use WPA so I have to use the odyssey client that supports WPA. The only problem is that the WLAN utility keeps the dhcp server from my home wireless router and as a result, doesn't renew when I get to work that uses a different dhcp server ip address. It just holds the 192.168.0.1 address from home. Any Idea how to get it to see my work dhcp server address? I have tried the renewIP button and it just holds the 192.168.0.1. Anny suggestions? Thanks for your help.

The DHCP server is cached locally but your PDA will send out a discover message. Are they using WPA-PSK or WPA?

Regardless - you need to ensure that the WPA(-PSK) settings are exactly matched up. IF you cannot get an IP Address, that is probably why.

You need the Odyssey client for WPA? I have WPA enabled at home and never use Odyssey. Does your unit pick up the wireless signal at work? It's possible (because security at work would tend to be tighter) that SSID is not being broadcast. There is talk that the Axim won't connect unless the SSID is broadcast the first time it connects. After that SSID broadcast could be disabled. Good luck asking the IT group to open it up for you....

Just an FYI....
I've had no problems connecting to a network with SSID broadcast disabled. It won't connect automatically, you will need to enter the parameters manually. So by saying it won't connect unless the SSID is broadcast, you're right. It won't connect automatically.
