I'd like to change language from German to English in my Axim X3. There is English ROM update on Dell web pages but it doesn't fit to my model. ROM release for Axim X3 non-wireless configurations and Axim X3i integrated 802.11b Wireless LAN configuration. This ROM release SHOULD NOT be used with X3i combination integrated 802.11b Wireless LAN and Bluetooth configuration
Can someone send me backup of ROM (for example *.ris file created by update program)? It takes a lot of space (over 16MB) so I can set a ftp account.
notice: only from X3 with blutooth and wifi integrated.

Do you mean the x30? If so did you try here

Don't really understand what you were saying. The x3i and x3 don't have bluetooth, only the x30.
If I understan what you are saying maybe this

this will work with the x3i (wifi) and the x3 (no wifi)

X3 was selling in 3 options:
1. Axim X3 non-wireless configurations
2. Axim X3i integrated 802.11b Wireless LAN configuration.
3. Axim X3i combination integrated 802.11b Wireless LAN and Bluetooth configuration
Update on Dell web pages is only for 1. and 2.

The X3i with BT was only sold in Europe, and only for a brief time before the X30 was released. I don't think there was any ROM upgrade for that model, which means to get an english version, you'd need someone in England to some how pull it off their X3i

I'm not sure your chances are very good.
