No Response at Password Screen
Maybe this is a weird problem, I don't know. After my Axim X3 has been charging and then I disconnect to take it with me is when the problem occurs. So after some time of not using it, I turn it on and get the password screen. The battery incicator from my ICBar in the upper left is orange and going up and down. While it is doing that, my Dell is not reponsive and I can't enter in the password, thereby making the Axim useless. It will remain this way until it is plugged in again. Turning on and off and soft resets do not help, only until I plug the darn thing in again while doesn't make it a very mobile device. This is very frustrating, please help!!

Sounds like a software conflict somewhere. Next time you have it under Make a backup with activesyc on the built in software on you X3 if you have a storage card then do a hard reset. Re-install your programs and try them out one at a time to see which one caused it then look for an alternative software choice.

If you don't want to do the hard reset try removing software in the reverse order you installed it until the problem stops.

Not a very easy solution but one of these methods should get you back running mobile again. One other thing... Anything in the Icbar manual or readme.txt file explaining what the up and down battery indicator means? Maybe you just need a new battery!
