I Have A Axim X3 With Tomtom Loaded The Battery Life Is About 24hrs After This I Lose The Softwear, When The Tomtom Has Been Lost The Battery Life Appears To Be At Least A Week (i Have Made Sure I Have Exited Tomtom Before Switching Off But Battery Still Goes Flat)

Im not sure im understanding you correctly but form my interpretation, the x3 should last about 24 hours and its not lasting that long with your current use.

There isnt much you can do about that other than set the cpu to run slower, decrease the backlight.. etc. I would just recomend the use of a charger more often as they are cheap and charging the battery often is good for the battery

I would recommed an extended battery in that case, it should double your battery life.
