Axim X3 - backup battery in Abnormal State
My X3 keeps flashing red/green light and the power settings show: backup battery in abnormal state. main battery is 100% charged. Any ideas what I should do? I have already tried soft and hard reset. Thanks.

Is it brand new? When you first charged the main battery, did you power on then off the device to activate the backup battery charge?

If everything was working fine before (i.e., both batteries charged as expected) then I would call Dell.

BTW, welcome to Aximsite!

Michael Dell: Igor, would you mind telling me what battery I just put in?
Igor: And you won't be angry?
Michael Dell: I will NOT be angry.
Igor: Abby something.
Michael Dell: Abby something. Abby what?
Igor: Abby Normal.
Michael Dell: Abby Normal?
Igor: I'm almost sure that was the type.
Michael Dell: Are you saying that I put an abnormal battery into a machine powerful enough to take over the World!!?? IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE TELLING ME?
