shattered X3i screen & bent connector
I finally did it! My refurb Dell X3i fell off my belt clip onto blacktop, from my waist this morning. I did not look at it until I got home. Good thing I didn't because the screen is shattered; the front side, above the 5 buttons is dented & the connector deformed. After reinserting the battery it turned on but the image is not good. From the looks of it, I may or maynot be able to sync it again.

I was looking at the Dell site at the outlet & all that is there now are some basic X30's. A couple of hours ago there were up to 100 that included some wireless models. I think I want a wireless so I may have to buy a new X30. My X3i has a 400 processor. This was fast enough so could order a X30 with a xs-312 processor rather then the xs-624. One postiive going this route is all the extra accessories.

I could order a X50 but don't think I want to wait 11 days while it is built. I would appreciate any comments.

as long as you're getting a new axim, you may as well upgrade...

the x50v is very nice..... if i were to get a new pda, i'd get the x50v for sure

I'm in the same position.. it's tricky to know what to do but I think I am going to go for the x50v although PDA's like the Loox and MyPal also look tempting..
