Power Problem!!!
i have an X30 and when i plug it into the wall it turns on, but when i try to turn the unit on without the plug it wont turn on, but with the cable it comes on, anyone know what this problem could be???
its odd...the battery is fully charged but will only turn on if plugged into the wall outlet, car charger and USB port...

if anyone can help, that would be great...

thanx...

Try a soft reset and see how the battery power is. Make sure the battery is properly seated and the contacts are clean. See if you can test the battery w/a battery tester.

As Steve said,it sounds like a battery problem. How old is the battrey? This is why I always have a spare battery.I use a pencile eraser to clean the contacts.

I have same problem there. When i use new battery, nothing happens, unless i plug-in the power cable. Then it shows red / green light flashing and Axim Test shows charging / standby with power circa 800mA, then it drops to 250mA and then 0.

It needs external power. I think that the problem is inside PDA - somewhere near VCO chips. Any chance to get Service Manual With electronic scheme ?? It would do a great deal to me Thanks a lot !

Well, now i know WHY... its damaged circuitry. It won't allow power from battery and there is maybe only one transistor dead, so it wont be so difficult. I need Service manual to fix this - electronic scheme of X30... anyone seen this?

i got the same issue, however it switches to a red standby when i switch batteries (doesnt turn on, switched to OEM battery, other battery is extended one)

my guess is that i left it on too long or something caused it to turn on, and the backup battery is dead and charging
