Question Up and running

Complete with my new SanDisk 1GB SD card from Amazon for nearly all apps, I now have in Main Memory 7.93MB allocated to Storage with 4.39MB free; 11.38MB free in Program.
I had to install Spb Diary in BIS,leaving 2.43MB free.
What an improvement! So far all seems well. It's great to actually get full use out of my Axim, it's like having a new PPC.
What simple app would folks recommend to merely show My Pictures to friends? I want it to run smoothly in this 11.38MB with no freezing up. Is SplashPhoto any good?

I have started using GSPlayer2 as I have an allergic reaction to Windows Media Player, it really bugs me; is there any way to actually delete any of WMPlayer? The thread about it seemed to have two sides to the story, and the result was somewhat confusing!

I'm glad the storage card has helped! You can NEVER have too much extra space.

For photo viewing, XnView Pocket is a good free alternative to using Resco Photo Viewer. It'll let you browse folders or storage cards, show thumbnails, and even display a bunch of images as a slideshow. You can get it HERE.

I don't know of any way to delete WMP, but then again, I've never tried. Since it's part of ROM, I highly doubt you can get rid of it. I usually use PocketMusic by PocketMind. If you're comfortable using GSPlayer, I'd stick with it. People seem to really like it.

I would forget my head ...

Resco! I went to the site and it mentioned an OEM for Dell Axim. OOps. Back to the CDrom, there it was. I installed it, got the upgrade and so far it looks pretty impressive. Thanks a lot.

I'm sticking with GSPlayer at the moment because it is so easy to use.

Everything's working, I don't want to touch another thing.

Awesome Aximsite User Forum. :approve:
