Low Memory Prevented Active Sync

Yesterday, I installed SplashID on my X30 and started to load it with info. After finishing for the day, the PDA would not sync. Various messages appeared, but it just would not connect. I checked the memory....and found that I was down to 9+ Mb. Then, I deleted files until the memory was up to 19+ Mb. and Active Sync started working fine.

What types of programs should I move to an SD card to provide a fix with some breathing room? I plan to delete all programs that are not essential. I seldom use Word on the PDA, so that may go. There may be some easy approach to this that I am missing. I currently put files that I generate on storage cards ie: pictures and music, ect.) Any advice?

Also....what is the difference between "Built in storage" and "Internal Storage"? I do not understand why both are shown.

Most everything can be put on storage card. I have a few thing like pocket streets and a email program that has to be in memory but almost everything else I have installed to the SD Card. Built in storage is whats left of built-in Flash memory not used for the OS, You can use that to although its kinda slow writing to so I would us it programs and not stuff you save and resave alot

before deleting useful stuff on your PPC, try cleaning junk files with something like memmaid. And you can install almost everything on BIS/SD.
