Worried Battery lose charge?

Hi,

Yesterday I left -overnight- my X30H (got it 2 days ago.)
on the charger craddle..
On the morning I took it off the craddle and put the device on my backpack.. Later -on the afternoon- I turned it on (for the first time after 10 hours) just to seek a phone number.. As I saw, the battery dropped to 90%.. Is this normal? I mean, the X30h lost 10% of the battery after 10 hours without any operation..
My previous PDAs were PALM and the battery barelly drops so fast during 10 hours (without any operation of the device )...
Is this a problem of the firmware (its version A06)? or the battery is defected ?

Any ideas, suggestions? Is this a problem with the "power manager" (I suppose that there is a power manager on this device..)

Thanx in advance,
Chris

I would not think it normal. You might just give Dell a call to ask them about it (if they offer a replacement, see if you can get jsut the battery, and be ready to do a hard reset when you get on the phone with someone).

During the winter my axim loses very little, if any battery power when being unused. During a hot summer day, its a different story. I have lost 10% and even more on these days, and i usually just use the axim off the ac power on hot days.

Update of my case..

The support of Dell here (Greece) is AMAZING
They told me I have to return the X30 to the salesman and he have to forward the pda to the DELL UK, as he imported it from Expansys UK.
Its like "you must get the PDA from us not for other reseller.."..

A_M_A_Z_I_N_G SUPPORT .. (or whatever they called it..)
