Hi folks,

I recently bought a used X30 and outside of some active synch issues, have been pretty happy with it. Recently however, after my kids tried to play "UFO", I have developed a strange situation with the brightness slider.

At the most extreme ends of the slider it goes completely dark for some reason. I can get the brightest setting just to the right of the Dim icon

I tried a soft reset, a completely unplanned hard reset :realmad: and the problem still remains. I even tried loading the game to see if there was some setting they used. ...NADA!

Anyone encounter this? Suggestions?

Assuming UFO is a program you installed, have you looked into the settings for UFO for screen brightness? Have you tried uninstalling UFO?

I actually checked the settings and there are no options unfortunately. Uninstalling didnt work either. Would Dell support be of any assistance?

Well, problem solved! :) As a final desperate attempt to fix this annoying problem, I did a Rom upgrade to A06. So, brightness sliders are working as they should and I am fully up to date!
