Didn't take them up on it-still straightening pins but my docking station doesn't recharge reliably now. Sensi cable from addonsworld charges and syncs more reliably.

I got mine from
PC-Mobile who are based in Hong Kong. It looks virtually identical to the original and syncs and charges fine on the 3 I have replaced so far (not confident to do it for anyone else though!). They deliver quickly and declare as samples for customs purposes....
I got 5 connectors for a total of $87.50 US, including shipping to the UK.
I found that the best way of removing the old connector was to cut the old shell into two pieces right in the middle. Once this is done and the shell bent out of the way, the black plastic holding the pins can be cut off (side cutters worked fine for both operations) and the pins can then be removed one by one. The shell can then be removed. Tin the pins on the new connector, solder the connector shell legs into the main board and then very carefully solder each pin with a fine tipped soldering iron.
I worked on the principal that it was broken and as I wasn't prepared to pay for the repair I might as well have a go myself.
Hope this helps someone else.
