Re-establish Existing Partnership?

I recently popped my main battery out of my Axim while the backup was out of juice and lost all my data. When I went to reconnect using ActiveSync, I could find no way of re-establishing the existing partnership I have with my computer (I can only create a new one or sign on as a guest). Can anyone give me some insight into how to avoid going through the setup process all over again? I'd rather not lose all my preference settings, etc.

Thanks,

Thomas

Make sure the Device ID is the same as the one you had before. Go to Start>setting>system>about>device ID.

Good luck.

That was exactly what I needed. Got all my Notes files back, and everything. Thanks a bunch!
